Thanksgiving for Faith and Perseverance

1 aPaul and bSilvanus and cTimothy,

To the dchurch of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:
2 eGrace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3We ought always fto give thanks to God for you, gbrethren, as is only fitting, because your faith is greatly enlarged, and the hlove of each one of you toward one another grows ever greater; 4therefore, we ourselves ispeak proudly of you among jthe churches of God for your

perseverance and faith lin the midst of all your persecutions and afflictions which you endure.
5This is a mplain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be nconsidered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. 6
